Concern Worldwide was founded by ordinary people who felt compelled to help people suffering from hunger. Ever since then, we've relied on ordinary people like you to raise money for our life-saving work. Interested in raising money for charity? Here are some fundraising tips to help you get started.

Online fundraising

We've made it possible for you to set up your very own online fundraising page. This will make it really easy for people to sponsor you. It’s simple to do this right here on our website: 

If you're not fundraising for Concern, it's still a good idea to set up an online fundraising page. There are a number of good options out there like Everyday Hero and Just Giving.

Ways of fundraising

There are many different ways you can fundraise. Some people organise an event like a bake sale or a table quiz. Other adventurous types decide to take on a challenge like climbing a mountain or running a marathon.

Then we have those wonderfully unclassifiable people who raise money by doing something completely unique like dressing up as Santa for a day or summoning the spirit of MC Hammer in their workplace.

We recently had one very inventive primary school that decided to do a Crazy Sock Day to raise money for Concern:



Whatever way you do it, you'll be helping to transform the lives of some of the world's poorest people.
