Concern Debates 2016 Final champions: Cross and Passion College Ballycastle

The Concern Debates National Final 2016 took place on Wednesday 18 May in The Helix, DCU.Cross and Passion College, Ballycastle are the winners of the Concern Debates 2016, they beat St. Joseph’s College Lucan following a challenging debate in the Helix, DCU.  Image credit: Visual Newsdesk.

Concern Debates 2016 winners

Following an intense evening of debate on the motion “To defeat terrorism the world must end poverty”, the results were in. The motion was opposed and  Cross and Passion Ballycastle were declared the winners of the Concern Debates 2016. Both St. Joseph’s College Lucan and Cross and Passion College Ballycastle delighted the audience with an insightful, thought-provoking debate on the night.
