South Sudan: food crisis looms

Three years ago this week, South Sudan became the world’s newest nation, brimming with optimism and hope after decades of civil war.

Today, the excitement of those days has been replaced with a worsening food crisis. As civil war continues to rage, the United Nations is warning that the country is in desperate need of help. Read this report from Concern Worldwide's Emergency Co-ordinator, Aine Fay.
